Wie kann das Leben nur so ungeheuerlich schaurig schön sein? Meine jährliche Dosis Lissabon, die dieses Mal sogar auf zwei Wochen erweitert wurde, tat unendlich gut. Ich habe bis dato mir unbekannte Bereiche der Stadt und meiner eigenen Person erkundet - ohne dabei verloren zu gehen. Die Sonne hat alle Selbstzweifel aus mir herausgebrannt und ich merke mehr und mehr mein eigener Mensch zu werden. Coming of Age. Mir wird mit mir selbst nicht mehr langweilig. Ich empfehle es jedem auch mal mehr oder weniger alleine zu verreisen. Ich habe mich unendlich befreit gefühlt. (Aber schön war es schliesslich doch, als Júlia endlich dazugestoßen ist.)
Und auf meinem liebsten Festival, NOS Alive, kommt sowieso nie Langeweile auf. Dazu aber später mehr; mir müssen erstmal die richtigen Worte einfallen, um meine Erlebnisse zu beschreiben.

How can life be this petrifyingly beautiful? My annual dose of Lisbon, which has been extended to two weeks this time, has had magical effects on me. I've explored unknown parts of the city and of my persona - without getting lost in the process. The sun has burned any sign of self-doubt from every cell of my body and I am noticing how I am becoming my own person more ad more. Coming of age. I'm not getting bored spending time by myself anymore and I encourage everyone that has never gone away by themselves to just try it. I felt endlessly free. (But, of course, I was super happy when Júlia finally joined.)
And of course: There never is boredom at my favourite festival, NOS Alive, either. More on that topic later though; I need to find the right words to describe my experiences first.
